Güliz Öztürk Leads UN Global Compact Türkiye

Pegasus Airlines CEO Güliz Öztürk has been elected Chair of the Board of UN Global Compact Türkiye, the Turkish network of the UN Global Compact that promotes sustainable business practices.

➡️ Öztürk took over the role from Ahmet Dördüncü, who served as chair for two consecutive terms, during the organization’s 4th Ordinary General Assembly held in Istanbul. In the new term, she will lead efforts aimed at accelerating companies’ sustainability transformation.

➡️ Speaking after being elected, Öztürk emphasized the growing need for a bold and responsible business leadership worldwide. She stated that their priorities include strengthening companies’ knowledge and implementation capacity in sustainability, enhancing collective action, and making the value created by sustainable practices more visible.
