Gulfstream V Overruns Runway in Cabo San Lucas, All Passengers Safe

A Gulfstream V private jet, registered N1948Z, overran the runway while landing at Cabo San Lucas International Airport in Mexico after departing from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. The jet was carrying two families from Brooklyn and came to a stop in a brush area.
There were no fatalities or injuries reported, though the aircraft sustained significant damage to its right wing and landing gear. Passengers and crew were evacuated safely and quickly. Mexican authorities have launched an investigation, with support from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The airport resumed operations shortly after a brief disruption.
