Flyadeal Launches Flights to Syria

Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline Flyadeal is entering the Syrian market following the lifting of Western sanctions. The company announced that it will begin direct flights to Syria starting October 1, 2025.

Under the new schedule, Flyadeal will operate three weekly flights on the Jeddah–Damascus route from October 1, and four weekly flights on the Riyadh–Damascus route from October 2. This will establish regular connections between the major cities of the two countries.

Flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway (ستيفن غرينوي) stated:
“With the lifting of sanctions on Syria, flyadeal joins the airlines aiming to restore air connectivity to a country that has struggled for many years. We are delighted that our new flights starting in October will contribute to Syria’s long-term recovery, its reconstruction efforts, and most importantly, to the reunification of families.”
