Flights have returned to normal at Heathrow Airport following a fire at a power substation in London that led to temporary closures.

In a statement from airport authorities, it was announced: “We can confirm that Heathrow is open and operational today. Our teams across the airport continue doing everything they can to support passengers affected by yesterday’s power outage caused by a fire at an offsite substation.”
