Finnair has signed a comprehensive agreement with Embraer as part of its fleet renewal strategy and efforts to strengthen its European network. The deal includes plans for a total of 46 E195-E2 regional aircraft.
Of the total, 18 aircraft have been confirmed as firm orders, while the remainder consists of options and purchase rights. The new-generation jets are expected to replace older aircraft in the current fleet and enhance operational efficiency.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027. The order will be included in Embraer’s first-quarter 2026 backlog.
