Finnair Prepares to Renew Its Fleet

Finnair is planning a gradual renewal of its narrowbody fleet. The airline is considering an order for between 15 and 30 new aircraft depending on its operational needs. A final decision is expected by the end of the year.

As part of the renewal plan, Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft are expected to be phased out. Finnair’s current fleet includes the Airbus A320 family, as well as A330, A350, ATR 72, Embraer E190, and Boeing 737 models.

The carrier also announced that it will expand its European network for the 2026 summer season. New destinations will include Florence and Catania in Italy, along with Valencia, one of Spain’s largest cities.
