Etihad Cargo has launched a long-term partnership with Atlas Air to expand its global capacity. Under the agreement, Atlas Air will provide dedicated capacity to Etihad Cargo using a newly delivered Boeing 777 freighter.
The aircraft will initially operate on routes connecting Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, and Madrid. The partnership aims to meet the growing demand for e-commerce, pharmaceutical, automotive, and perishable goods transport across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Having previously collaborated, the two companies plan to use this agreement to strengthen Etihad Cargo’s global network and offer more flexible cargo solutions to customers. The Boeing 777F’s high payload capacity and fuel efficiency will support sustainable and reliable transportation goals.
