Embraer Plans to Establish Aircraft Assembly Facility in Poland
Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is taking significant steps to transform Poland into a European aviation excellence hub. The company is considering setting up a final assembly line for the KC-390 military transport aircraft and developing a maintenance and repair ecosystem in Poland. This investment is expected to generate approximately $1 billion in value and create 600 jobs.
Additionally, plans include establishing a landing gear overhaul center for E-Jets E2 and converting E190 aircraft into freighter versions. Over the next 10 years, commercial aviation investments are projected to exceed $2 billion, leading to the creation of 4,400 new jobs.
Embraer aims to position Poland as a key strategic partner in both military and commercial aviation. Once the facility is fully operational, Poland is expected to emerge as a significant hub in the global aviation industry.
