UK-based low-cost carrier EasyJet has announced plans to terminate its Istanbul flights starting in 2026. The airline’s routes from Bristol and Manchester will be discontinued as of March 2026.
Currently, EasyJet operates three weekly flights on the Bristol–Istanbul and Manchester–Istanbul routes, with services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These flights are set to conclude ahead of the 2026 summer season, as part of a planned schedule adjustment. The decision is believed to be influenced by competitive market conditions and load factor performance on these routes.
Following its exit from the Turkish market, the airline plans to focus on intra-European routes. In 2026, EasyJet will launch four new connections: Birmingham–Rome, Edinburgh–Ljubljana, Bristol–Reus, and Bristol–Thessaloniki, as part of its strategy to diversify operations across Europe.
