EasyJet to End Istanbul Flights in 2026

UK-based low-cost carrier EasyJet has announced plans to cease its Istanbul operations starting in 2026. The airline’s routes from Bristol and Manchester will come to an end as of March 2026.

Currently, EasyJet operates three weekly flights between Bristol–Istanbul and Manchester–Istanbul on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These flights will be gradually phased out before the start of the 2026 summer season. The decision is believed to be influenced by competitive market conditions and route load factors.

Following this adjustment in the Turkish market, EasyJet plans to focus on intra-European routes. In 2026, the airline will launch four new routes: Birmingham–Rome, Edinburgh–Ljubljana, Bristol–Reus, and Bristol–Thessaloniki, expanding its network within Europe.
