easyJet Flight Diverts to Frankfurt After Passenger Screams “There’s a Bomb”

Onboard easyJet flight #U22148 from Dalaman to Manchester, a woman began shouting “There’s a bomb on the plane” and headed toward the emergency exit door. The Airbus A320neo, registered G-UZHO, was forced to make an emergency landing at Frankfurt Airport in Germany.

Reports state that the passenger also tried to pull out the emergency life vests and oxygen masks, and later approached a couple claiming the plane was going to crash.

In a statement, easyJet said: “Flight #U22148 from Dalaman to Manchester was diverted to Frankfurt due to a disruptive passenger incident onboard. Due to the airport’s night flight restrictions, the flight continued with a delay, and passengers arrived in Manchester the following day.”
