Dubai Flight Traffic Drops to 20

Flight Traffic in Dubai Plummets, Daily Operations Drop to 20
Rising tensions across the Middle East and successive airspace restrictions have directly impacted flight activity at Dubai International Airport, one of the region’s busiest hubs.
According to FlightRadar24 data, a total of only 20 aircraft movements were recorded at Dubai International Airport on March 2. Of these, 16 were departures and 4 were arrivals. No data was published for the previous day.
A comparison with earlier figures highlights the scale of the decline. The airport handled 1,257 movements on February 27, 1,240 on February 26, 1,236 on February 25, and 1,225 on February 24. On February 28, a total of 674 movements were recorded.
Due to regional airspace closures, issued NOTAMs, and security-related restrictions, many carriers have suspended or restructured their services. The ongoing developments are significantly affecting Gulf-based airline operations and transfer traffic.
