Drone Attack Targets U.S. Diplomatic Support Center in Baghdad

According to a report by the The Washington Post citing an internal U.S. security alert, the U.S. Diplomatic Support Center in Baghdad, Iraq, was targeted in a drone attack.

In the attack, reportedly carried out by Iranian-backed militias, five of the six drones launched were shot down, while one struck the facility. No injuries have been reported so far.

The strike is believed to be retaliation for joint operations conducted by the United States and Israel against Iran. (Source: The Washington Post)
