dnata to Open Animal Transport Facility at Schiphol

Aviation and travel services company dnata will open a dedicated animal transport facility at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport this summer. The 2,380 sqm facility, part of dnata Cargo City Amsterdam complex, will focus on animal welfare with temperature-controlled areas, quiet zones, adjustable lighting, and on-site veterinary services.
The center will feature stables for over 70 horses and strict biosecurity protocols. Designed in compliance with IATA’s CEIV Live Animals certification, the facility will complement dnata’s existing animal care center at Brussels Airport. dnata stated that the new facility will raise the standards for live animal logistics in Amsterdam. The center is scheduled to open in July.
