Direct Flights from Kazakhstan to Dalaman Begin

YDA Dalaman Airport continues to strengthen its international flight network. Kazakhstan’s flag carrier, Air Astana, is set to launch flights to Dalaman with four weekly frequencies.

Starting in the summer of 2026, these flights will mark the first-ever direct connection between Kazakhstan and Dalaman. This new link will allow Dalaman Airport to increase its reach in the Central Asian market while directly connecting Muğla with two of Kazakhstan’s major hubs. Growing Interest in Muğla The Kazakh market has shown increasing interest in Turkey in recent years. Muğla’s natural beauty, coastal and yacht tourism, and rich cultural heritage make the region a highly attractive destination for Kazakh tourists. Thanks to these direct flights, travel from Almaty and Astana to Muğla will become faster and more comfortable.

Statement from YDA Dalaman Airport CEO Yiğit Laçin, CEO of YDA Dalaman Airport, commented on the development: “The direct flights to be launched by Air Astana from Kazakhstan to Dalaman are a strategic step that will further strengthen our region’s international tourism potential. This first-ever direct connection will enhance Muğla’s global accessibility and provide significant contributions to regional tourism and the local economy. As Dalaman Airport, we remain committed to increasing our international connections and opening our region to new markets.”

Seasonal Impact Operating throughout the season, these flights are expected to boost tourism momentum in Muğla during the summer period and further expand YDA Dalaman Airport’s global destination network.
