Direct Flights From Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Atyrau Launched

Direct flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Atyrau, Kazakhstan’s port city, have been launched. Operated by Pegasus Airlines, the flights will be offered twice weekly (on Wednesdays and Sundays), aiming to strengthen the economic, cultural, and social ties between the two countries.

This new route marks Sabiha Gökçen’s fifth destination in Kazakhstan and becomes Pegasus’ latest addition after Almaty, Shymkent, Astana, and Aktau. Located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, Atyrau is a city rich in oil and natural gas, and the new connection is expected to contribute to business and tourism relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan.
