Delta Air Lines has placed an order with Boeing for a total of 60 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners, comprising 30 firm orders and 30 options, as part of its fleet expansion strategy. The widebody aircraft are planned to be deployed primarily on transatlantic routes and services to South America.
The new 787-10s will feature larger Delta One Suites and Premium Select cabins, aimed at enhancing Delta’s passenger experience. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2031.
The 787-10s to be added under this order are expected to replace part of Delta’s aging Boeing 767 fleet.
