Ceasefire Established Between India and Pakistan

Following escalating tensions in the Kashmir region in recent days, India and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire. U.S. President Donald Trump announced that both sides had reached a consensus on a “complete and immediate ceasefire.” Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that the process was shaped through diplomatic efforts by the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
With the enforcement of the ceasefire, Pakistan reopened its airspace to civilian flights, which had previously been closed due to security concerns. The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority announced that flight operations had returned to normal at all airports across the country. As part of the normalization steps, Qatar Airways flight #QR605 from Karachi to Doha, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER with registration A7-BEU, became the first passenger aircraft to use Pakistani airspace.
