Boeing X-37B Spaceplane Begins Its Eighth Mission

👉🏻The U.S. Space Force’s X-37B spaceplane was launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center on August 21, marking the official start of its eighth mission.

👉🏻Designated USSF-36, the mission aims to test advanced technologies such as laser communications and quantum-based navigation. The Boeing-built uncrewed spacecraft had completed its previous mission in March.

👉🏻Since 2010, the X-37B has been known for testing various experiments in orbit and, with its reusable design, is considered an important platform in U.S. space research.
