Boeing Enters 2026 with a 50-Unit 737 MAX Order from ACG

Boeing has opened 2026 with its first order of the year. The aircraft manufacturer signed an agreement with leasing company Aviation Capital Group (ACG) for 50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

Under the agreement, the order is evenly split between 25 737-8s and 25 737-10s. Deliveries of the ordered aircraft are planned for 2032–2033, highlighting the long-term nature of demand for next-generation narrowbody aircraft.

With this latest deal, ACG’s total orders for the Boeing 737 MAX family have reached 121 aircraft. The company continues to strengthen its position in the narrowbody segment as part of its fleet renewal strategy, aiming to reduce fuel consumption and operating costs.

Following the agreement, ACG has become the largest leasing company customer for the 737-10, the largest and highest-capacity variant of the 737 MAX family. All aircraft will be powered by LEAP-1B engines.

For Boeing, this order carries symbolic significance as it opens the company’s 2026 order book. It also demonstrates continued market interest in the 737 MAX program and sustained confidence in the 737-10 variant, which remains in the certification process.
