Boeing Denies New Aircraft Claims

Boeing has denied reports that it is developing a new aircraft to replace the 737 MAX. The company stated that it is only conducting technology and configuration studies and has not yet launched a new program.

The statement emphasized that the priority remains delivering approximately 6,000 orders and completing the certification processes for the 737-7, 737-10, and 777-9 models. Boeing also highlighted that new aircraft development could begin once market conditions, technology, and the regulatory environment are favorable.

Analysts say the launch of a new narrow-body aircraft is unlikely before the late 2030s. The company is currently focused on ramping up production rates and addressing quality issues.
