Boeing CEO Ortberg Earned $18 Million in Five Months
Boeing’s new CEO, Kelly Ortberg, earned a total of $18.4 million for his five-month tenure in 2024. However, approximately $16 million of this amount consists of stock incentives that will vest over three to four years. Ortberg’s base salary was $525,000, and he also received a $1.3 million “new hire” bonus.
Former CEO Dave Calhoun did not receive severance pay when he stepped down on March 1. In 2023, Calhoun earned $15 million, and he still holds $20.7 million in stock options, which will vest over the next 10 years.
