Antonov An-24 Aircraft Disappears From Radar in Russia, Wreckage Spotted

In Russia’s eastern Amur region, an Antonov An-24 passenger aircraft operated by Angara Airlines lost contact with air traffic control shortly after takeoff. The aircraft had departed from Blagoveshchensk en route to Tynda, carrying a total of 49 people — 43 passengers and 6 crew members.
Following initial reports that the plane had gone missing, search and rescue operations were launched. A Mi-8 helicopter deployed to the area has reportedly identified wreckage believed to be from the missing aircraft. Rescue teams are currently en route to the site of the discovery.
