Last week, American Airlines received the Boeing 787-9 with registration N849AN from Boeing, marking the airline’s 1,000th aircraft. Delivered at Boeing Field in Seattle, the aircraft has also completed its first scheduled flight.
ℹ️ Earlier this year, United Airlines became the first airline in the world to reach this milestone, achieving a total of 1,000 mainline aircraft with the addition of a new Boeing 737 MAX 9 to its fleet.
