Last night, we shared information regarding a delay on flight #VF3273 from Nevşehir to Sabiha Gökçen due to a technical issue following AJet’s flight from Sabiha Gökçen to Nevşehir. According to the information we’ve received, a Boeing 737 aircraft registered as TC-JFM experienced a tail strike during landing in Nevşehir. After inspections, it was determined that the aircraft was not fit to operate the return flight.
To prevent passenger inconvenience, AJet dispatched another Boeing 737 aircraft, registered as TC-JFC, from Sabiha Gökçen to Nevşehir without passengers under flight number #VF6802.
The aircraft that experienced the tail strike, TC-JFM, is expected to return to Sabiha Gökçen shortly under flight code #TK6958 without passengers and undergo a detailed technical inspection.
