Airspace Restrictions in the Gulf

Qatar and Bahrain have reportedly temporarily closed their airspace amid escalating tensions following Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iran and the risk of potential retaliation.
According to AFP, explosions were heard in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. Authorities have not yet issued a detailed official statement regarding the developments.
The decision is understood to have been taken in response to heightened security risks and increased military activity in the region. The airspace restrictions are expected to cause delays and reroutings in civil aviation. Airlines are anticipated to update their operational planning in line with forthcoming NOTAMs.
