Civil infrastructure is reportedly among the targets in the latest wave of strikes attributed to the United States and Israel. According to local journalists and reports cited by Reuters, both Bushehr Airport and Mehrabad International Airport were hit today.

Unconfirmed claims suggest that during the strike on Bushehr Airport, a passenger aircraft belonging to Iran Air was destroyed on the ground. Videos circulating on social media — not yet officially verified — indicate the aircraft may have been EP-IEP, a 24-year-old Airbus A319-111.

The aircraft had reportedly been operated by Iran Air since 2019. Authorities have not yet issued a formal confirmation regarding the extent of the damage or the aircraft’s status.
