Airbus Records 49 Orders and 19 Deliveries in January 2026
Airbus received 49 gross aircraft orders in January 2026 and delivered a total of 19 aircraft to 15 different customers. The delivery performance in the first month of the year was seen as a balanced start to the new year for the manufacturer.
As of the end of January 2026, Airbus’s total commercial aircraft order backlog reached 25,559 units, while total deliveries stood at 16,776 aircraft. The number of Airbus commercial aircraft in active service worldwide was recorded at 14,788.
On a program basis, single-aisle aircraft accounted for the majority of both orders and deliveries, while in the widebody segment, the A330 and A350 programs continued to hold a significant share of the overall portfolio.
