
European aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered a total of 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers worldwide throughout 2025, marking a 4% increase compared to the previous year. Despite ongoing operational challenges during the year, the company’s commercial aircraft delivery performance maintained an upward trend.
During 2025, Airbus received 1,000 gross orders from 57 customers. After cancellations, net orders stood at 889 aircraft. The order breakdown consisted of 49 A220s, 656 A320 Family aircraft, 100 A330neos, two A330 MRTTs, and 193 A350s.
By year-end, Airbus’s total order backlog reached a new record level of 8,754 aircraft. In the widebody segment, the backlog climbed to a historic year-end high of 1,124 aircraft. The company also succeeded in keeping its book-to-bill ratio above one in 2025.
Throughout the year, new operators joined fleets with the A220, A321XLR, A330neo, and A350-1000 models, while repeat orders and new customer wins were recorded across both single-aisle and widebody aircraft programs.
