Air Transat, recently honored as the World’s Best Leisure Airline at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, is set to expand its transcontinental reach with the launch of a new year-round non-stop service between Toronto and Istanbul. The new route will commence operations on December 6th, offering twice-weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
This strategic move is further supported by a newly established interline partnership between Air Transat and Turkish Airlines, aimed at enhancing air connectivity between Canada and Türkiye. Through this collaboration, passengers will gain seamless access to a wide array of destinations across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, via Istanbul’s global hub.
