Air Traffic Controllers’ Strike in France Canceled

The planned three-day strike by air traffic controllers in France has been canceled, preventing widespread flight disruptions that were expected to affect millions of passengers across Europe.

The SNCTA union announced that it had suspended the strike—originally scheduled for October 7–9—following discussions with the government and the Prime Minister’s decision to postpone the parliamentary session on the budget bill. The union had long been demanding salary increases and improvements to working conditions.
