Air India CEO Campbell Wilson has announced that he will step down from his position.
Wilson was appointed in 2022 following the Tata Group’s reacquisition of the national carrier. During his tenure, he led major investments in fleet expansion, brand renewal, and service improvements.
However, ongoing operational disruptions, rising costs, and increased regulatory scrutiny have slowed the airline’s recovery. Wilson stated that he will remain in his role until September before officially stepping down.
