Air China has resumed its direct flights between Beijing and Pyongyang as of March 30, restoring scheduled air links between the two capitals after a nearly six-year suspension due to the pandemic.
The first flight operated under flight number CA121, departing Beijing at 08:05 local time and arriving in Pyongyang at 11:00. The route is currently planned to operate once weekly on Mondays.
➡️ The resumption of flights is seen as one of the latest steps in the gradual reopening of transport links between China and North Korea. Earlier in March, passenger train services between the two countries also resumed after several years.
