Air Astana passes 10th IATA operational safety audit

Air Astana has successfully passed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) for the tenth time. The audit was first conducted in 2007 and since then the airline has been confirming its compliance with international safety standards every two years.
IOSA is an internationally recognised evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. The programme includes all applicable ICAO safety requirements from the Annexes to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
During the current audit, the compliance of documentation, practical implementation of IOSA standards and recommended practices in all areas of the airline’s activities was confirmed. Among them are corporate management systems, flight execution and dispatching, aircraft maintenance, on board and on-the-ground maintenance, cargo operations and aviation security.
