Air Astana Increases Flight Frequencies for Nevruz Holiday

Air Astana announced that it will increase the frequency of its international flights departing from Almaty due to the Nevruz holiday.
Air Astana CFO and CEO candidate İbrahim Canlıel stated that flight frequencies to both regional and long-haul destinations are being increased as part of Nevruz celebrations, noting that this initiative will provide passengers with greater flexibility.
Under the plan implemented in March, nine additional flights were added on the Almaty–Phuket route, while on flights to Vietnam’s Phu Quoc, the use of wide-body Boeing 767 aircraft increased seating capacity by 35%.
In addition, 13 extra flights were added on the Almaty–Delhi route, and flight frequencies were also increased to destinations such as London, Male, Istanbul, Tbilisi, and Tashkent.
The expansion of the flight network is expected to continue in April. On the Astana–Frankfurt route, weekly flights will be gradually increased from four to daily operations by the end of the month, while additional flights are also planned to be introduced on the Almaty–Phuket and Almaty–Bangkok routes.
