Air Astana Announces 2025 Financial Results

Air Astana announced its fourth-quarter and full-year financial results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. According to the figures, the airline recorded growth in both passenger numbers and revenue during the year.

The company reported that the total number of passengers carried in 2025 increased by 7.9% to 9.7 million. Total revenue and other income rose 11.4% to $1.4539 billion. EBITDAR reached $321.2 million, with a margin of 22.1%, while profit after tax was reported at $13.6 million.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the group carried 2.2 million passengers, with a load factor of 81.7%. During the same period, total revenue increased 15.8% to $357 million. However, EBITDAR declined by 9.7% to $59.1 million, with the margin falling to 16.5%. The airline reported a net loss of $17.7 million for the quarter.

Air Astana CEO Peter Foster stated that the airline carried nearly 10 million passengers in 2025, noting that the expansion of the international network played a significant role in the company’s growth. Foster also said that three Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft are planned to join the fleet within the next 15 months.

The company added that with new aircraft deliveries and continued network expansion, Air Astana aims to sustain its growth trajectory in the coming period.
