Air Anka to Add 5 Boeing 737-800 Aircraft to Its Fleet
Turkish carrier Air Anka Airlines is moving forward with its growth plans for the summer 2026 season. The company’s Chairman of the Board, Yavuz Serkan Yazıcıoğlu, announced that five Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be added to the fleet.
Yazıcıoğlu emphasized that the airline’s Airbus A330 fleet, which has long stood at the core of its operations, represents strength, reliability, and operational excellence, noting that this new step will further build on that legacy.
As part of preparations for the summer 2026 season, the incoming Boeing 737-800 aircraft are highlighted as a key component of Air Anka’s strategic growth objectives. With new operations planned from Europe and the Middle East to Türkiye’s major tourism gateways, particularly Antalya, passengers are expected to gain access to a broader destination network.
The statement underlined that this move goes beyond a simple fleet expansion. The new aircraft investment is seen as a strong sign of Air Anka’s confidence in its future, in Türkiye, and in the global tourism ecosystem it supports.
