A350-1000 Makes Emergency Landing in Diyarbakır | [via @HavaSosyalMedya ]

A Virgin Atlantic Airbus A350-1000 operating flight #VS358 from London to Mumbai was diverted to Diyarbakır due to a medical emergency involving a passenger. During the diversion, the aircraft made a hard landing, which has reportedly caused a technical issue onboard.

Due to visa complications, passengers are currently unable to leave the airport for hotel accommodation and are being held in the terminal’s airside area. Work has already begun to resolve the aircraft’s technical issue, but the airline has not yet announced a clear recovery plan.

There are concerns that the airport may not be able to accommodate another wide-body aircraft. As a contingency, the possibility of dispatching two narrow-body aircraft to transport the passengers is being considered.

It has been noted that a visa is required for passengers to be moved to hotels, and relevant teams have already started working on the issue.
