Saudia to Launch Nonstop Riyadh–Tokyo Flights in November

Saudia will launch its first scheduled nonstop service between Riyadh and Tokyo on November 17, 2026, further expanding the airline’s international network in Asia.

The new route will operate three times per week between Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and Tokyo Narita Airport. Schedule data shows that the flights will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Flight SV824 will depart Riyadh at 01:00 and arrive in Tokyo at 17:25. The return service, SV825, will leave Narita at 21:30 and arrive in Riyadh at 05:25 the following morning. Tickets are already available through Saudia’s digital channels and authorised sales outlets.

The service is being introduced in cooperation with Saudi Arabia’s Air Connectivity Program and the Saudi Tourism Authority. It will provide more than 90,000 two-way seats annually while supporting tourism, trade, investment and cultural links between Saudi Arabia and Japan.

The route also forms part of Saudi Arabia’s National Aviation Strategy, National Tourism Strategy and Vision 2030, which aim to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as an international tourism destination and global aviation and logistics hub.
