
Emirates has become the world’s most profitable airline for the second consecutive year, following the release of its 2025–26 financial results.
Despite global economic uncertainty, operational pressures, and difficult market conditions during the latter part of the year, the airline reported record revenue and profit figures.
According to the company’s statement, Emirates generated $6.2 billion in pre-tax profit during the 2025–26 reporting period, marking a 7% increase compared to the previous year. The airline’s profit margin reached 17.4%.
Emirates also reported revenue of $35.7 billion, one of the highest levels in its history.
The airline stated that its cash reserves continued to grow, reaching $15 billion, the highest cash position ever recorded by the company. According to the released figures, cash holdings increased by approximately 10% compared to March 31, 2025.
