“They Are Spraying the Skies” | What Are the Facts?
Recently, various claims have frequently surfaced on social media suggesting that the white trails left behind by aircraft are “chemical sprayings,” that people are being intentionally poisoned, and even that Israel is behind these activities. Posts regarding this topic have created a wide-spread area of debate. However, scientific studies characterize these claims as baseless.
➡️ The white trails left by aircraft in the sky are actually “condensation trails,” commonly known as “contrails.” These occur when exhaust gases from aircraft engines turn into water vapor in cold air conditions at high altitudes. When the gases from hot engines meet the surrounding cold air, they evaporate and turn into ice crystals, which form the white trails. In short, these trails are entirely natural physical phenomena and do not contain toxic substances.
➡️ In another dimension of the debate, former CIA documents regarding the use of such trails to achieve global weather control have come to the fore. Specifically, the “Operation Popeye” program implemented during the Vietnam War is highlighted as an example of such practices. However, research emphasizes that these types of operations remained limited to experimental scales in very small areas, and there is no scientific evidence regarding global weather control.
Scientific data shows that the trails emitted by aircraft are merely a natural process and do not pose any threat to human health.
