An easyJet Airbus A319 operating flight U2-7008 from London Southend to Malaga faced a pre-departure weight issue after exceeding safe takeoff limits.
The pilot informed passengers via cabin announcement that the aircraft could not safely depart with the current load, requesting either six volunteers to disembark or a full offload of baggage.
Following brief uncertainty among passengers, six individuals agreed to leave the aircraft voluntarily. The flight later departed with a short delay and completed its journey to Malaga safely.
