U.S. A-10 Attack Aircraft Reportedly Crashes Near Hormuz

A U.S. A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft has reportedly crashed near the Strait of Hormuz.

According to international sources, the aircraft is believed to have been shot down by Iranian air defense elements following developments linked to a previously reported F-15E incident.

The pilot of the A-10 is reported to have been rescued, while search and rescue operations are said to be ongoing in the area.
