Three Passengers Detained for Refusing to Pay Baggage Fee

Three female passengers were removed from a Frontier Airlines flight and taken into custody at Miami International Airport after refusing to pay an additional cabin baggage fee. The incident reportedly caused a delay of approximately one hour.

According to reports, Frontier staff requested an extra fee for additional cabin baggage. During the ensuing dispute, the three passengers allegedly proceeded through a restricted area toward the aircraft despite warnings. After their boarding passes were canceled, they reportedly refused to deplane. Police intervened and detained the passengers.

Authorities stated that the three individuals face charges of unauthorized entry after warning and resisting police without violence. One of the passengers also faces an additional assault charge.
