STARLUX Airlines Chairman Chang Kuo-wei personally operated the delivery flight of the airline’s first Airbus A350-1000 on January 6, 2026. The aircraft departed from Toulouse and landed smoothly at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport.
A former pilot, Chang’s return to the cockpit highlighted the company’s strong aviation roots and its commitment to its new-generation aircraft. Following the long-haul flight, the aircraft was welcomed in Taipei with a traditional water cannon salute.
