Iran Strikes U.S. Aircraft at Prince Sultan Air Base

Iran reportedly targeted Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia with a ballistic missile attack, striking a U.S. Air Force Boeing E-3 Sentry airborne early warning and control aircraft.

According to initial reports, at least three Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft used for aerial refueling missions were also hit and sustained damage.

The attack is said to have been carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force (IRGC Aerospace Force).
