Trump Orders Emergency Payment for TSA Personnel

U.S. President Donald J. Trump announced a new measure addressing disruptions at airports and ongoing security process issues across the country. Trump stated that he has instructed Markwayne Mullin, whom he referred to as Secretary of Homeland Security, to ensure immediate payment of salaries for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel through an executive order.
In his statement, Trump described the situation at airports as urgent, noting that the move aims to both accelerate security procedures and resolve operational disruptions. He also expressed appreciation for the efforts of Transportation Security Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel.
Meanwhile, Trump sharply criticized Democrats, particularly Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Targeting Democratic immigration policies, he argued that the current situation constitutes a “national crisis.”
