Japan-based airline ANA (All Nippon Airways) has celebrated the 40th anniversary of the launch of its scheduled international flight operations. As part of the celebration, company employees formed the human letters “40th THANKS” and posed for a commemorative photo.
ANA’s first scheduled international flight was operated on March 3, 1986, on the Narita–Guam route. What began with a single route has expanded significantly over the past four decades, evolving into a global network.
Today, ANA’s international network consists of 55 routes serving 40 cities. In its statement, the airline emphasized that the support of its passengers has played a key role in this growth and expressed its gratitude to its customers.
