Etihad Issues Operational Update: Abu Dhabi Flights Suspended

Regional airspace closures continue to impact Etihad Airways’ operations. The airline has announced that all flights to and from Abu Dhabi are suspended until 02:00 UAE time on Monday, March 2.

Passengers scheduled to travel are advised to:
• Check their flight status before heading to the airport,
• Ensure their contact details are up to date in their booking,
• Rebook free of charge onto Etihad-operated flights up to March 15, 2026, if holding tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026, with original travel dates up to March 2, 2026,
• Request a full refund for cancelled flights,
• Contact their travel agent directly if the booking was made through an agent.

Etihad also noted that it is currently experiencing a high volume of calls, which may result in longer response times. The situation remains dynamic, and schedules may change at short notice.

The airline stated that it continues to coordinate closely with the relevant authorities and will resume normal operations as soon as conditions permit. The safety of its guests and staff remains its highest priority.
