
✈️ The Switzerland-registered Bombardier Global 6000 business jet, bearing tail number HB-JFX, was transferred to the Russian registry following a sale completed at the end of 2025. Most recently operated by Geneva-based Swiss Private Jet and previously reported to have been part of the Rolex fleet, the aircraft flew to Muscat, Oman, on December 30, 2025.
📍 According to open-source flight data, the jet repositioned to Dubai Al Maktoum (DWC) on January 21. Shortly thereafter, it flew to Russia and was registered under the new tail number RA-73551. The aircraft’s new operator is listed as North-West Air Company.
⚖️ Following sanctions, Russia has generally acquired Western-manufactured aircraft indirectly through third countries, intermediary companies, temporary foreign registrations, and subsequent re-registration in the Russian aircraft registry. In many cases, transactions are finalized in countries not subject to sanctions, after which the aircraft are ferried and officially placed into service in Russia under a new registration.
